It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I have had so many family and children schedule a holiday session my heart is truly full. I have been having so much fun laughing with the ‘big kids’, chasing toddlers and holding babies during our sessions I just can’t get enough of it!
This holiday session was so adorable. Little Jameson is 11 weeks old in his first family photo session. Looking dapper as ever in his adorable overalls and matching hat to dad. The day was a perfect temperature for him to be outside, chilly but sunny and the location was meaningful as his nursery is a woodland creature theme. The Marshfield Wildlife Sanctuary fit the woodland theme and is mom’s hometown of Marshfield, MA- giving lots of meaning to their session together as a family of 3!
I asked mom and dad what their favorite family activity is and they told me that talking and playing with Jameson on the changing table is the best- he smiles the most and the makes so many developmental breakthroughs there! Mom Tip: Tummy time on the changing table works great. You can bend down to their level so when they lift their heads, they see you face to face! We did this with Ethan and he loved it! He was able to hold his head up the longest when knowing you are right there. You might even get a few smiles and laughs. Positive reinforcement goes a long way!
Their simple colors of this session really brought out Jameson’s baby blue eyes! The muted blues and grey were really nice and I loved how mom’s scarf brought it all together. They all looked amazing and I couldn’t be more excited with how their photos came out.
Here are a few favorites from our session together. I hope I get to see them again and watch Jameson grow year after year!
