All Star Theme 2nd Birthday Party | Plymouth, MA

My son, Ethan, turned two on September 5th. It has been an amazing 2 years with our little man and we are so thankful that he choose us to be his parents. We love him to the moon and back and back again… and well…you get it, right? Last year his birthday was an ABC theme because every time he was fussy, all you had to do was sing the ABC’s and he stopped crying. This year, our big boy is now 2 and we decided to go with an All Star Baseball Theme.

Ethan loves to play ball. Doesn’t matter what sport it is, he loves to throw and catch. When I bought him his first baseball bat and ball he was shaking and screaming with excitement! We had a little baseball photo shoot for his 2 year photos and invites and I knew that this was such a good idea for a theme, I was so excited and I got to work.

Pinterest is great for party ideas so that’s where I went. Most of the time, I pin things and forget about them. I used my own creativity to put a spin on this Pinterest party. I found banners and the little party needs like plates and napkins from Target and NE Party Supplies. They were meant to be for any kind of party, but it worked for what I had in mind. That the red, white and blue colors just fit for the All Star Theme and that was my focus as far as the colors go. Everything looked great and I was really happy with how it all turned out!

A friend of ours had a bounce house they let us borrow and it was a huge it! The kids loved jumping the day away in there and it was just so nice to see them all playing together and getting tired for later that  night! It was great! Bounce houses for this age group are perfect, for anyone planning a party for a two year old.

Ethan’s Tia helped me and made the adorable centerpieces you see below in the images. They came out so awesome and I just can’t get over how hard she worked on them. If you look closely, the stitching on the baseball gloves and ball are hand done! She spent a lot of time on them and they looked amazing! She also helped get the balloons I wanted because she knows how much going out to pick up balloons scare me. I am always afraid I will pop all of them on the way back home! Thank you, Tia Lau, for all of your help with this!

It was a great day, and awesome birthday weekend (yes it was 4 days of celebrating our baby since his real birthday was on Labor Day Monday 9/5!)  My dad came to visit from NJ along with best friends of ours too! We are so thankful they could make it and brave the long trip with holiday traffic. We appreciate it more than they will ever know. Ethan loved getting to spend time with them the whole weekend and was sad they had to leave. We will be visiting NJ again in October so he will be thrilled to see them again. We miss you guys already!

To all of our family and friends who came to celebrate on Saturday, Thank you! We loved spending time with you all, and are so thankful to have such amazing people in our lives. Ethan is one lucky little boy to have you in his life! We love you all! We can not wait to see everyone again soon! xo

She asked him to be the ring bearer in their September 2017 wedding! He of course accepted! He loves his “manny” (Maddie) so much and he can not wait to be apart of her special day..and neither can I! I will be capturing their wedding day! It’s going to be awesome! IMG_6982
