“No words can describe how my heart felt.”- Carilyn
Goodness! Where do I begin with this little family! I started working with the ‘C’ family this year on a project that mom, Carilyn, is doing. Motherhood With A Glass Of Whine has been so exciting for me as it is my first time taking photos of products for a blog! Carilyn is a “mom blogger” who incorporates reviews of baby products and personal life all in one. Since having my son, Ethan, I have been reading tons on mom blogs and call me biased, but this might just be my favorite!
I plan do a blog post around some of the products she has reviewed so you can see the images I have captured for her, but for today, I am putting aside that line of work and I am presenting you with a Fresh 48!
I have been planning several new things for 2016 and offering Fresh 48 Sessions is one of my projects. When Carilyn contacted me to capture photos for her blog, she filled me in on her family and told me she was expecting twins in April. Toward the end of her pregnancy is when I started working with her and I was able to capture those last few bump photos before the twin girls arrived and we talked about a fresh 48 capturing those fresh baby details forever!
Carilyn was on board to do a Fresh 48 session and when the little ladies decided to arrive on April 22, 2016, Carilyn contacted me and set up the time for me to go there the day before she went to the hospital, stayed in touch with me once they were born and we planned for me to go on Sunday April 24 for their session. I could not wait to see them at the hospital! They were sleeping soundly and mama looked absolutely beautiful and happy. The ‘C’ family was complete as we welcomed Kate and Kiera into the world.
” One down, one to go”
Carilyn’s first thoughts after seeing her baby for the first time. She had an easy labor after hearing all the warnings of all the different variables of a twin birth and she was relieved and happy to be holding 2 healthy little miracles.
In addition to her husband being at the hospital with the babies, she wanted her 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter there as well as her parents who are so supportive and help out their family so much. It was important for them all to be there during our session at the hospital, you could just feel the love in every photo.
For these hospital photos, Carilyn wanted it to be authentic so all she did was decide on the outfits the babies would be wearing. She did a great job timing their feeding schedule so that when I got there, they were super sleepy and full. Since this was a special delivery of twins, she liked that their names were on the outfits so no one asked, “so who’s who?” These outfits were a huge hit by Boco Baby, incase anyone was interested in buying them. Shortly after her delivery, Carilyn did a review about them on her blog. Feel free to stop on over and send some love to Motherhood With A Glass of Whine and her adorable family!
I can not wait to see them again soon!
