As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing some of life’s most beautiful moments for my clients. One such couple that certainly holds a special place in my heart is Gina and Kevin. I had the honor of photographing their wedding a few years ago. It was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and promises of a beautiful future together. In 2021, I had the pleasure of capturing their first baby at their home. Altogether, it was bittersweet to see them again then. Fast forward to today, and I had the immense joy of reuniting with this incredible couple. I was able to photograph a new chapter in their lives – the arrival of their precious little baby boy.
When Gina reached out to me to document their second baby’s newborn photos, I couldn’t contain my excitement. Getting to see them again, and watch their family grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. We scheduled their newborn photography session, and I knew it was going to be something truly special. ( Baby Jack shares a birthday with my Ethan on 9/5!)
On the day of the session, I arrived at Gina and Kevin’s cozy home. Their little one was wide awake and big sister was not surprisingly a little unsure. Hailey is now 2 years old and Baby Jack, just a few weeks old. Both were an absolute delight to photograph. Hailey’s has big brown eyes and an adorable little laugh. While Jack has red hair and blue eyes. It’s so fun to see the features they have from mom and dad! We said that Hailey looks like dad and Jack looks like mom! Do you agree??
Capturing the newborn session for Gina and Kevin was undoubtedly not just about photography. It was about witnessing the beautiful evolution of a family. From their wedding day to their baby girl and especially now this magical moment. I’ve had the privilege of documenting their love story, and for that, I am truly grateful. As I look at the images from this session, I am reminded once again of the power of love and the enduring joy it brings into our lives. Here’s to Gina, Kevin, Hailey and Baby Jack – may your journey together continue to be filled with love, laughter, and countless beautiful moments.
