What better way to celebrate a first birthday than with a football cake smash! Just before Christmas, sweet little Brooks came into the studio to celebrate his very first birthday and we made sure it was a absolute touchdown!
We started off the session with Brooks in the cutest little jumpsuit. I mean seriously, who doesn’t love a baby in a jumpsuit? He looked absolutely adorable and was all smiles as he warmed up to the camera.
Then it was time for the main event: the cake! We brought out the cake for his football cake smash, which completed the most charming backdrop and themed outfits. Brooks wasn’t quite sure what to make of the cake at first—he gave it a few curious pokes and a tiny taste. While he may have been a little confused by the whole thing, his expressions were priceless, and he looked so stinkin’ cute the entire time.
Watching him explore and take in everything around him was such a joy. These are the kind of moments that remind me how special it is to freeze time—just for a little bit—and celebrate these big milestones in a little one’s life.
He had the happiest first birthday and I can not wait to see him again soon! I just love capturing these milestones!
