Oh my goodness, you guys!!! I took Katie’s senior portraits when I FIRST STARTED MY BUSINESS! I can NOT EVEN!!!! When Katie reached out telling me she wanted me to photograph her wedding I almost fell out of my chair! Her family has been a long time family friend of my husbands side since he was little. I had the pleasure of getting to know them once I moved to New England in 2010. Her wedding inquiry was indeed so special and I am so honored she wanted me to be the one to capture this major life event for her.
I did not put two and two together. I had no idea that the boy who held up my reflector during her senior portraits was the man she was going to marry! When I arrived to their engagement session, and realized this I was completely mind-blown! First, I felt like I should have known that upon seeing his name on the inquiry email, and second…HOW did I now know this!!! It was just so funny and amazing to find out that he was there for her senior portraits and now they are getting married!
I just love this location they chose! Katie and Jason love the outdoors and have been camping since they were little! They have a goal to visit as many covered bridges as they can together and decided to have their session at a covered bridge in NH that they have never been to before. I provided them with a few options to choose from and they decided on the Albany Covered Bridge in in Albany, NH. If you have never been there before, the drive to get there is BEAUTIFUL! Lots of views of mountains in the area and places to pull over to soak it all in. There is a short hiking path in the area with a convient parking lot, swimming in the warmer months in fresh water and just all around beautiful.
Katie and Jason, thanks for bringing me here! I never even knew there was an Albany NH and I am thankful for you guys to want to go there and have me tag along! I can not wait to see you again for your wedding day!
