I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a sweet family to the Studio for a session that was extra special holiday session. Not only were we capturing their festive family photos, we were also celebrating the arrival of their beautiful newborn, Baby Olivia.
The session was full of warmth, love, and the peaceful energy that only a newborn can bring. Baby O was a dream to photograph, sleeping soundly through most of the session. We gently moved from one cozy setup to the next. Capturing all the little details — her tiny fingers, delicate lashes, and that sweet newborn softness that melts your heart.
When Baby O did wake up, she was calm and content. Occasionally, flashing the tiniest hints of curiosity as she took in her surroundings. It’s always magical to capture those fleeting moments of peaceful wakefulness, and Baby O didn’t disappoint. Her serene demeanor added to the beauty of the session. I have a feeling the experience left her feeling just as sleepy as her parents later!
The love between mom and dad was palpable as they held their baby girl. These moments—snuggles, gentle kisses, and quiet gazes—are what make sessions like this so meaningful. The joy and connection this family shares is something I am honored to capture this (holiday) season for them.
