It’s been a minute since I last brought out my “big” camera for anyone other than my children. The winter months are more of a down time to get things done behind the scenes- blogging, social media, reels, website…. all that stuff you may or may not know I also do. We have had quite a few snow storms and every time I tell myself, I need to get the camera out and just snap photos of the kids in the snow….. and then I never do it. Soon I will!! I have a vision of them out there in nice clothes though and we are always in our snow stuff which is probably the real reason why I have not brought it out…. I’ll just need to get over it and snap a few photos both ways- snow clothes and nice.
Well, this weekend my longing for shooting in the snow has been fulfilled when good friends of ours came by for a maternity session IN MY BACKYARD! Yes, thats right. They parked in my driveway and we literally walked into the backyard for these photos!
Erica is due at the end of March and I have to say, she looks AMAZING!!! She was absolutely stunning in her forrest green gown as the snow was falling all around her. She brought a faux fur shaw and her family was dressed to match her perfectly. I loved the blues and greens they went with! It was freezing outside and we worked fast since we did not want the kids outside long without their snow gear on and in that short amount of time together, we got amazing photos and I am so excited to share them with everyone!
Congratulations to the Miller Family! I can not wait to meet your little GIRL in a few weeks!
