Family Vacation to Wildwood NJ | 2019

It’s been awhile since I shared a personal blog post with you all! This one has been a few weeks coming but here it is and I am happy to have it all together and ready for you to see! You guys, I am telling you now, these photos are are all taken with my IPHONE! **GASP** Yes, it is true. I had my professional camera with me but to be honest, sometimes just having my phone handy and in my back pocket is the easiest way to capture memories without worrying if my professional camera is going to break, get stolen, have sand inside, etc. I edited these photos in my Lightroom app that I have on my phone which is pretty much what I always use when editing phone photos.

As I am sure you guys are all aware by now, I am a Jersey girl! My side of the family still lives there and so we get to go and visit them about 2 times a year. This time, we took a vacation and headed to Wildwood NJ! Family came to spend a few days there with us, which we are so thankful for!! We all had so much fun and it was really a wonderful week of family ( and the weather was great too!)

Henry is at the age where he is not sure what to think of the Ocean… he did not like the water much at all but he did LOVE playing in the sand!

Ethan has been waiting to go on Bumper Cars since he was Henrys age! We told him then that he had to be 5 to go on them… he has never forgotten. So, he is going to be 5 in September and he wanted to see if he reached the height. Sure enough! He was able to go on the bumper cars with an adult! He and PJ had so much fun while Henry and I were cheering for him. He was so excited that he was finally able to go on the Bumper Cars!

When your baby who NEVER sleeps on you anymore….falls asleep and stays asleep while you hold him… you take a photo!

Before going to see more family, we stopped at the Cape May Zoo. It was so hot but it was fun! I have not been there in YEARS! I loved it and I just love getting to bring the kiddos to places I went to when I was growing up!

After the zoo we stopped by the place PJ and I were married almost 9 years ago! This is my happy place! I love Smithville SOOO MUCH!

My sister is getting married this October and while we were in NJ, we also hosted her Bridal Shower at Riverwinds Restaurant in West Deptford! It was perfect! Next up is the Bachelorette Party!

Have you ever played the toilet paper game? you break up the guests into teams and give them 1 roll of toilet paper. They choose someone to be the “bride” while everyone works together to create the perfect wedding dress! It was really funny and we even had a brides-man there to escort all of the ladies! My sister, the bride to be was the judge of the best dressed bride!
