You guys… It’s time for a gender reveal! I have never before, ever, been this excited to share a blog post on a TUESDAY! Today is not JUST any TUESDAY! It’s Valentines Day and this little growing family has a new little valentine on the way!! Maria and Andrew had won my holiday giveaway by sending me a Christmas Card with an Ali B Photo on it! My son, Ethan, picked their card out of a basket and I knew I would be capturing moments of them with a little growing baby bump! (Ahhh I LOVE Babies!!!!) Maria contacted me a few weeks ago as she and her husband were finding out the gender the week before Valentines day and asked me if I would be able to take their reveal photos! I was SO SO SO excited knowing that I was going to be one of the first few to know if they were having a boy or a girl, I couldn’t wait to see them!
Maria was in contact with me, sharing her ideas for how they were going to reveal their babies gender! I thought all her ideas were absolutely adorable and I could not wait to capture this time! Our session last weekend was just after a snow storm.. with more snow on the way, so we had to hurry! We met at Pond Meadow Park in Braintree, MA and stayed relatively close to our cars since the snow was pretty deep, dad didn’t have a jacket and mom was going to take her coat off for a few photos! Let’s just say it was cold, but these two (3) were troopers! I love that the snow was still fresh and kissing the trees so nicely for these shots! Baby M is due in July so the winter session brings such a nice feeling to this special time of preparing for their little one!
Maria had purchased an adorable Valentines Day T-Shirt from Groupon.com and she wanted Andrew to paint his hands blue or pink, then we would reveal what the color is after a little count down! Despite freezing hands, he revealed the gender successfully!!!!! They also had cute ribbon and paint samples and wrote “its a girl” and “its a boy” in the appropriate color! The paint on the shirt was the BIG reveal for me, so that comes first in the images below, however, the other idea’s were captured first!
Maria and Andrew, thank you so much for including me in this special moment of revealing the gender of your little one! I am so excited for you both and I can not wait to meet this new little person in July! ( I also can not wait to watch that bump grow and capture some more maternity photos for you!)
And now…the moment we have all been waiting for………… IT’S A…………………….
ITS A………………
BOY!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are a few paint bloopers I had to add in there. Andrew could NOT feel his hands! We were all laughing (and were worried!) This was such a special day!
Are you expecting?! CONGRATULATIONS! Let’s connect and we can plan for a gender reveal photo session to share with all your family and friends! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE babies and baby bumps?! 🙂
