Motherhood with a Glass of Whine contacted me to attend this amazing event with her as she was asked to review them on her blog. She and I went as press for both of our businesses and we had so much fun. We met many baby product vendors, entrepreneurs, moms of little’s, soon to be moms and event staff. We learned about new products that we didn’t use for our kids, and received many gifts and samples throughout the whole event.
I really enjoyed getting to meet marketing reps of several different products. Joovy‘s team was fantastic to meet with. They have us a glimpse of their stroller lines and high chairs, one of which reclines all the way back for those little babies that fall asleep during meal time! The look of their products are modern and fresh and they all fold and pack up so nicely! I was very impressed and I am really interested in their Caboose Stroller, which is PERFECT for an infant and a toddler! More on this later….. 🙂
My son is obsessed with baby pouches. I have the Infantano Fresh Squeeze station (Which has also been reviewed on Motherhood with a Glass of Wine) but sometimes I don’t have the time to make our own pouches. We love Happy Baby Organics in our house, especially for their see through packaging. It’s also a nice bonus to get the recipe of the pouch on the bag so you can make it yourself! They were at this event talking all things baby food, you will see their table set up below..
Gift bags were given out to those who attended, there were lots of giveaways and games throughout. Photo ops were all over the event with some nice backdrops that were created and an area with snacks and drinks for all guests of the event. Below you will see my gift bags under my tree… Christmas came early over here!
I have to say, getting to wear a PRESS badge was pretty cool. I got in front of the camera (iPhone) a few times this event since I couldn’t get over how awesome it was! My little bump and I did a few poses…! I enjoyed talking to everyone there and taking photos for Carilyn to use on her blog. You can check out Motherhood with a Glass of Whine and the review she did on her blog here. It’s an event that you don’t want to miss whether you are a new mom, soon to be mom or experienced mom! There is so much fun to be had by all! Big City Moms travel all over and these baby showers are held in different cities all throughout the year! Be sure to check out their website for info to see if one is coming to a city near you!
Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends and author of Mom Boss attended and was chatting about her book of balancing entrepreneurship, kids and success. It was so great to meet her and yes, I did get a signed copy of her book! I can not wait to start reading this in the New Year!
a HUGE should out to Carilyn and Big City Moms for having me attend this awesome baby shower!
