Andrea and Chris’ Wedding Blessing | East Walpole, MA

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had the honor of joining Andrea and Chris, along with their families for Sunday Mass and a special blessing for them as their original wedding date would have been 10-11-20. Instead of a wedding, we gathered together in the church they plan on saying their I Do’s in next year. We prayed over them as an engaged couple and will continue to pray for them as they finalize plans for their winter wedding. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This was not fully an elopement, but it was just as special. We celebrated them after their beautiful blessing, we had family photos, bride and groom portraits in the same park they had their engagement photos in, she wore white, a toast with champagne in gorgeous champagne flutes was given, catered food was served and topped with a delicious cake. It might not have been their original hope for the day, but I have to say it was absolutely beautiful and still a date to celebrate for years to come. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am so exited to see them again in February. I know this year has been so hard for everyone planning their wedding, but it’s amazing to see the different things everyone has done to still make it their own and most importantly, marry the person of their dreams. I am so blessed to be apart of it all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Andrea and Chris, Thank you for having me be apart of this special day. It was so nice to get to meet your sweet family and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in just a few short months! The church you are to be married in is beautiful and I just love the park across the street! You will have so many amazing memories to come in these two special location and I love that I was a part of it all! Enjoy the next few months engaged. February will be here before you know it and it is going to be the best day ever! Love you all! xoxo.
