Bedford Village Inn | Sarah & David Wedding Day

Sarah and David’s wedding day at the Bedford Village Inn was the kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do so much. Late March in New Hampshire brought a chill to the air. But it didn’t take away from the warmth and emotion that surrounded every moment of their celebration.

From the very beginning, Sarah and David embraced the day exactly as it was. And that made everything feel effortless, meaningful, and truly them.

One of my favorite parts of their day was their first look. Despite the colder temperatures, they chose to step outside, and I am so glad they did. There is something so special about those quiet moments before the day fully begins. The grounds of the Bedford Village Inn, even in early spring, offered such a timeless and elegant backdrop. As soon as David turned and saw Sarah, you could feel the emotion instantly. It was genuine, heartfelt, and the perfect start to their wedding day.

We continued with their bride and groom portraits outdoors, leaning into the natural light and the season. The cooler tones paired beautifully with their style, creating images that felt romantic, calm, and full of connection. Sometimes the unexpected elements—like the weather—end up adding so much depth to a gallery. This was definitely one of those times.

The Bedford Village Inn itself brought such a unique element to their wedding day. The space has a richer, moodier feel compared to my typical light and airy style. I absolutely loved the opportunity to get creative within it. The deeper tones, warm lighting, and elegant atmosphere allowed me to explore different ways of capturing their day. I was able to play with shadows, depth, and intentional light in a way that felt true to both the venue and my approach. It’s always inspiring to step into a space that challenges me creatively. The Beford Village Inn did just that in the best way.

Throughout the day, there were so many thoughtful details, but one stood out in such a meaningful way. Sarah wore David’s mother’s ring in her memory. It was a beautiful and emotional tribute that added so much significance to the day. It’s those quiet, powerful details that speak volumes about love, family, and the people who are always with us. Even if they can’t be there physically.

She carried the ring in the most beautiful vintage green ring box, which added such a rich and elegant touch to the details. It was a small piece, but one that felt incredibly intentional and personal, tying together both style and sentiment in such a perfect way.

Sarah and David’s wedding day was filled with so much heart. From their emotional first look to the way they embraced every moment together, it was clear how deeply they care for one another and for the people around them.

Sarah and David, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was truly an honor to be a part of such a meaningful celebration, and I am so excited for you to relive these moments for years to come.
