Pinehills Wedding Venue, Plymouth, MA | Colleen + Keith

At first it was calling for rain for a good portion of their wedding day… (Just like it did for their engagement session). Then as we got closer, it only called for rain during 11am-2pm. The morning of their wedding, it just had rain around 11am lasting a short period. At 11am, it was sunny skies and not a dark cloud in the sky! It might have been 98 degrees but there was ZERO rain in the forecast!

Colleen and her girls got ready at the Mirabu Inn and Spa located in the Pinehills. In their matching pajamas and slippers, the ladies were so much fun. I loved hanging out with them as they were finishing up their hair and makeup! I just loved it when it was time to take their matching pj photo. Music was playing and they all jumped on the bed in the perfect form. I did not even need to tell them where to go, dancing and singing and just oh so joyful! They all had contagious smiles and I knew they were going to be such a blast to hang out with all day!

Later in the day, I got report that the guys also wanted a photo on the bed of the hotel room they were getting ready in at the Hilton Garden Inn in Plymouth, MA. They knew the girls were going to do it, so they wanted the same photo- how funny is that?!

When I met with Colleen and Keith during their timeline phone call, Colleen let me know that her and her father were going to share in a first look together and that she was going to surprise him by playing a song he use to sing to her as a baby (Beautiful Boy by John Lennon). She mentioned that this song was not going to be their song for their first dance at the reception, but it’s a song that has a lot of meaning to them, and she wanted to play it for him as a surprise. It was such a sweet moment and on her wedding day. The anticipation of seeing his daughter for the first time in her gown was strong. He was cracking us up asking if he can turn around, when she wasn’t even there yet! When he did get to turn around, the song started and he was a moment I’m sure they will both never forget.

One of my favorite moments was getting to spend time with Colleen and Keith for their bride and groom portraits. They are just the sweetest people to be around! I knew this from their engagement session, and two years later, its still true!

Colleen and Keith, I LOVE that I learned about your love for Disney this day. I love that I was able to see you again when it felt like so long ago you had your engagement session and I love that it did not rain for you this day! Meeting your family and friends was so special and I am so thankful for you all. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day for you! I hope you love reliving this day through this sneak peek and I can not wait to share with you all the magic we created together. For now, here are just some of my favorite photos! xo.
