Last year, I did these Laughter Sessions in the Studio for just my kids and our neighbor. We loved these photos so much, both of us printed them out in a large size and have them framed in our homes. We decided to do this again this year to capture the kids now (since we didn’t get the O.G. school photo) and because we loved the laughter sessions are so much, we wanted them updated and we now 100% will be doing these year after year.
These sessions are just THE BEST! I prompt the kids but I also let them tell me what they want to do. They have free range of doing poses that they’d like to do but I also will ask them to stand a certain way, and smile or giggle or not to look at me (etc.) Once they get their wiggles and excitement out in doing the poses they want to do, they are comfortable with me and I genuinely capture that comfort and amazing smiles and laughter!
The nice thing about these is you can have your friends join you! Just note- the more kids, the longer of the session. Kid’s typically will last up to 30-45 mins and be happy to have their photo taken. The more people the longer the session…Here you will see 4 kids. 2 are mine and 2 are our neighbors. They are great friends so it was cute and worked out great to combine out time together.
