The week leading up to Emily and Mike’s wedding day was actually warm for the winter months! We’ve had highs in the 40s and 50s all week and just in time for their wedding day, the cold was back and it was in the 30’s all day! For their engagement session, we had snow and Emily was hopeful it would snow for the wedding day… well, while it did’t snow for us during their portraits, it did snow later that night and we got to go out and get some night shots of them together with the snow falling! While taking those photos, Emily said ” This is what I wanted! I can’t believe it is snowing right now!”
Emily got ready at her childhood home in Kingston,MA where she and Mike also shared a first look together! What a perfect location and moment they shared! One in which they will never forget. Mike’s reaction was so sweet and I literally couldn’t stop smiling behind my camera the whole time they shared their moments together. We planned their time line so that they had their first look and outside portraits of family and bridal party at the home since it gets darker earlier in the winter time and they wanted outside photos. I absolutely LOVE the house. It was a perfect backdrop for their photos and even better, it has a lot of meaning!
Emily and Mike LOVE their dogs, Badger and Blitz! The dogs were there for their engagement session and they were there for the wedding day! They wanted a lot of photos of their dogs and we strived to do that for them! Who doesn’t love good puppy photos?! Am I right?! They were such great pups to spend the day with and I love that they included them in their wedding day. They wore adorable cranberry colored bandanas that matched the groomsmen ties!
Emily and Mike, Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to capture you wedding day! Thank you for trusting my creativity and listening to all my ideas! You guys ended my 2017 season and started my 2018 season and I am so grateful for you! I loved getting to spend time with you guys and meeting all of your family and friends, and… Blitz and Badger are my new favorite pups! I hope you love looking at these images and reliving your wedding day! Congratulations!

These are incredible!!! Thank you so much!!!
The best photographer ever. So kind, creative and enthusiastic. We forgot they were there. The pictures are more beautiful than we could have hoped for. Had always wanted photos in the yard but didn’t think it could happen. Alex made our dreams come true.
