The very first time I spoke with Lauren and David, I was going out with a few friends. Little did they know, I was going to the exact place they would have their ceremony – The Bedford Village Inn. As I was talking to them about their wedding day plans, I remember feeling so excited for them. I know this venue particularly well and it’s only a 7 minute drive from my home! They were the sweetest people to talk to! Once our call ended, I headed to BVI with friends and told them about the amazing couple I spoke to!
I just knew from that first meeting with them, that they certainly had such kind hearts. I was so honored they chose me to capture their wedding day. They had a beautiful engagement session and I knew their wedding was going to be full of love and beauty!
Lauren and David shared a beautiful first look in the garden/ceremony area at BVI. To me, this such a special area as that is there they said “I do” just a few hours later. It was one of my favorite moments of their wedding day. David looked at her with such a contagious smile, and their moment together uninterrupted was pure joy. Their bride and groom portraits were amazing! And I just love how gentle and kind they were with one another, their vendors and their families. Their warm hearts were contagious and I can’t thank them enough for welcoming me into their family for the day.
One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was their family portraits. Lauren and David’s nephews were adorable and made for some great moments that happened during this time. Their oldest nephew by the end of the night was my buddy. He helped me make everyone smile, he pressed the “button” on my camera to take a photo, he held the flowers when I needed someone to help me hold them, and most importantly, he smiled in the photos. I’ll never forget their family portrait time. It makes me smile just thinking about it.
Lauren and David, Thank you for your patience as I prepared this blog post for you. Thank you for inviting me into your family on your wedding day. Thank you for just having the kindest hearts. It was a pleasure capturing this day for you. Here are some of my favorite moments of the day, I hope you love looking back on. xo.
