Some wedding days just feel like they were made for photographs. Maddie and Matt’s day at Locke Falls Farm was one of them.
The weather gave us a beautiful overcast sky, creating the softest, most romantic light throughout the day. And while the skies may have been gray, the gardens certainly were not. The flowers at Locke Falls Farm were absolutely breathtaking. With everything in full bloom and creating the most beautiful backdrop for their celebration.
This day was even more special because of how much of Maddie and Matt were woven into every detail. Maddie poured so much love, creativity, and time into their wedding day. She personally made, crafted, and designed so many of the details. From the little touches throughout the day to the elements that brought their vision to life. You could truly see her heart in everything. It wasn’t just a beautiful wedding; it was a wedding that felt completely and uniquely them.
And then there was Jackson. 🐾
Their handsome pup was such an important part of their day. And of course, he completely stole some of the spotlight. From his sweet presence to those adorable flower girls, every little detail felt personal and so perfectly them. Their flower girls were the sweetest little additions to the day and brought so much joy and personality to every moment.
One of my favorite parts of their day was their first look. There is something so special about those few quiet minutes before the rest of the day begins—when it is just the two of you, taking in the fact that this is it. Maddie and Matt had a chance to slow down, see each other for the first time, and really soak in the moment before everything else unfolded.
They also chose to share private vows with one another, just the two of them. These quiet, intentional moments are some of my favorite memories to photograph because they aren’t about performing for anyone else. They are about two people promising forever to each other—and that is something incredibly beautiful.
From the gorgeous florals and handmade details to the laughter, happy tears, family, friends, and all of the little moments in between, their day was filled with so much love.
And once the reception began? That dance floor was PACKED. 🕺🏻💃🏻
The kind of packed where you know everyone was completely in the moment, celebrating Maddie and Matt exactly how they deserved to be celebrated. There was so much energy, so much laughter, and so many people who clearly love these two deeply.
It was one of those wedding days where you could feel how much their people mean to them—and how much they mean to everyone around them.
Maddie and Matt, thank you for trusting me to be there to document all of it. From your first look and private vows to Jackson, your sweet flower girls, the beautiful gardens, the handmade details, and one seriously incredible dance floor… I loved every minute of your day.
