A New Year Wedding is a perfect way to start off the new year! Jackie and Nick had their wedding on 1/15/22 at Granite Links in Quincy, MA. I met them for the first time over the phone. And I was so excited to officially meet them in person for their engagement session this past July! You can view their engagement session HERE.
Granite Links is one of my favorite venues. It’s funny… I ended the 2021 wedding season there and now, I have started my 2022 weddings there! This time it was a little too cold to have an outside wedding in a tent. But the ballroom at Granite Links is gorgeous. The staff and all other vendors do amazing work putting together the bride and grooms vision.
Jackie and Nick’s wedding day was calling for wind and 3 degree weather. That did not stop them from wanting to get a few photos outside! First they shared a beautiful first look just look in front of the hopa which they soon would be saying their vows under. We were able to capture their portraits inside as the light was shining perfectly though the large windows and then braved the wind and cold for a few minutes on the balcony that is connected to the ballroom area. The view of the city of Boston was so clear and so beautiful!
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day was the blessing that Jackie’s dad gave just before dinner. It was so heartfelt and meaningful. Im not sure the was a dry eye in the place as he reminisced over old memories, new memories and explaining how amazing his daughter Jackie is and how happy he is that Nick and Jackie found each other. It is evident that Jackie and Nick are so loved, not just by her dad, but by all their friends and family who celebrated them. I loved getting to meet each and every one of you.
Jackie and Nick, I knew from the our first initial phone call you guys were amazing! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day ( and engagement session photos). I had a blast getting to know you guys and I am so happy to have started my 2022 weddings with you both! I love you guys! Enjoy looking back at your wedding day together.
