I spent April Fools day 2023 at The Heritage at Sherborn. It was my FIRST WEDDING OF THE YEAR! Friend, let me tell you, I missed shooting. The few months off from shooting from the end of 2022 through now is super busy with business things. Having this wedding to start of my 2023 year of weddings was amazing!
I met Abby at a wedding over year ago, as she was a bridesmaid. We connected then and I was so excited to see her and her fiance’ for their engagement session last April. Here we are a year later and they are saying I Do’s. Together with their little 5 month old bundle of joy, Valerie. They exchanged the sweetest vows and Valerie was an amazing. She really is such a beautiful baby girl who did not make a peep the whole time!
Joey and his mom are Elvis fans! When they told me there would be an Elvis impersonator at their wedding, I was so excited to see! As soon as I arrived, he was there, not in his full out uniform, but he had the perfect Elvis style hair style, I knew it was him! When it came time for the reception, Elvis came out and surprised the guests with 2 songs. Then Joey and Abby were announced into the reception with him singing and then it went right into their first dance with Elvis there so sing for them. Elvis also sang for parent dances and was then available for photos. Everyone in the room loved this special touch on the wedding day and I love all the photos I was able to capture for them!
Abby and Joey, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day at The Heritage at Sherborn! The April Fools Day joke of rain in the morning was not funny at the time, but looking back, the skies cleared just for you and the temperature was perfect! I loved getting to capture this season of life for you all and I can not wait to see you again in the future! Give Valerie a little hug from me. 🙂
