The weekend called for rain… LOTS and LOTS of rain. I packed up the clear umbrellas that I bring to weddings anytime there is rain in the forecast. Guess what? I didn’t need to bring them out of the car! The weather was chilly, and a little misty at times. But we did not have rain that kept us from being outside.
Lori and Hayden got ready in separate areas of the Winthrop Carter House. I have to say, is so beautiful inside and full of character and history. Lori and her girls had adorable pajamas that matched and Lori rocked a beautiful sheer long robe! I just love when the bride and her girls match the morning of and get to spend time together laughing and having fun. The guy all had fun getting ready while wearing Baseball Jerseys representing their favorite teams. I loved this and thought it added such a fun touch to their special day.
Lori and Hayden first saw each other at the ceremony when she came down the aisle with her dad. I love getting to see the first look reaction of the groom during this time. It is always just so so sweet and so so genuine. Hayden couldn’t take his eyes off his bride and I caught some raw emotion as he took her in walking toward him. It was just the sweetest and one of my favorite parts of the day. They ended the night with a sparkler exit which was so much fun for all! Pro Tip: Sparkler Exits need the long stem sparklers! This allows no one to get hurt, and the bride and groom can run through them a few times before they all go out!
It was an absolute beautiful day filled with so much love and joy, and I was so honored to have been there to witness and capture these moments! Lori and Hayden, thank you for trusting me from the moment you met me, to your engagement session through to your wedding day! I hope you are having the best time on your honeymoon and looking back on this amazing day! xo.
