It’s always exciting when my worlds collide in the best possible way. With this Green Truck Mini Session, I went from school photographer to family photographer. That’s exactly what happened during this recent Henry the Green Truck session. I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet family with two sweet kiddos—Madeline who is in 4th grade with my oldest son, Ethan and her younger brother, Duke , who happens to play football with my son, Henry.
It was so fun to officially meet this family outside of the usual school/football routine and capture their dynamic energy and love for one another. From the moment they arrived, they brought so much warmth and joy to the session, making my job an absolute delight.
Henry the Green Truck provided the perfect setting to showcase their sibling bond. The vintage teal truck and festive décor gave the session a cozy, nostalgic vibe that highlighted their personalities beautifully. Whether it was the older sister looking out for her younger brother or the playful moments they shared, their connection shone through in every frame.
As the school photographer, I’ll be seeing more of these two throughout the year, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Getting to know families both in and outside of school is such a gift—it deepens the connections I feel to the community and reminds me of the importance of capturing these fleeting moments in time.
To the Murray Family, thank you for trusting me to capture your memories with Henry the Green Truck. It was such a pleasure to meet you and share in your joy. I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon—whether it’s at school or for more family sessions in the future!
