Losing a Tooth | Studio Family Session with Michelle of Twist Six Events

Losing a tooth is one of those moments I’d like to freeze in time. It’s when kids are in that magical, ever-changing stage where they’re growing and transforming by the day. That was exactly the case when Michelle, owner of Twist Six Events, came into the studio with her beautiful family for a session.

Their son had just lost one of his front teeth, and again, he was losing a tooth quickly. Let’s just say it was hanging on by a thread. It was such a fun moment to capture—his big smile (with one little gap!) was absolutely priceless. I’m pretty sure by now that second tooth has officially made its exit… I’ll have to check in and see if the Tooth Fairy made a visit!

We captured so many amazing photos during their session—each of the kids showing off their personalities, sweet sibling moments, and of course, some timeless family portraits. I also made sure to get a few special shots of just mom and dad together. Because while the kids are often the stars of the show, it’s just as important to capture the love and connection at the heart of the family.

Michelle, thank you for trusting me to photograph this chapter for your family. I’m so happy to have captured these memories—and even more excited that we get to work together on a few weddings this year! It’s always such a joy collaborating with you, and I can’t wait to see the magic we create for our couples.
