There are some sessions that just feel magical from start to finish. Ashley and Jesse’s beach session was one of those sessions. The light was soft and golden, the water was calm, and their sweet Seabrook family session brought me so much joy and energy.
I’ve had the honor of photographing Ashley and Jesse year after year. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing families grow right in front of my camera. I remember photographing their maternity session, and now, their little ones are getting so big, too! It’s always amazing to see how their personalities shine a little more each time we meet.
This session was full of laughter, sandy toes, and plenty of splashing in the water. The kids loved exploring the shoreline, chasing each other along the sand, and discovering treasures in the water. The biggest surprise of the night? The snails! They were a huge hit and kept everyone entertained as the kids carefully examined them with such curiosity and excitement.
Sessions like this are such a reminder of why I love photographing families. It’s not just about posed portraits—it’s about capturing the real moments: the giggles, the discoveries, the way kids throw themselves wholeheartedly into play. Ashley and Jesse, thank you for trusting me with these memories year after year. Watching your family grow has been such a joy, and I can’t wait to see what new adventures our next session will bring.
