White Park: A Family Session in Concord, NH

White Park is a beautiful setting for any kind of photography. But it’s especially beautiful for family portraits.

In the business of photography, I’m blessed to meet so many incredible families. Each with their own unique stories. But there are some families whose journeys stand out in ways that touch your heart deeply. Today, I want to share the story of a family that has become so special to me. Molly, Alex, and their beautiful children.

A few years ago, I met Molly in a women’s Bible study. It was one of those meetings where you instantly connect with someone — her warmth, strength, and unwavering faith were truly inspiring. Over the years, our paths continued to cross. Soon, I had the privilege of witnessing and capturing some of the most meaningful moments in her family’s life.

One of the most unforgettable moments was capturing Alex, Molly’s husband, as he returned home from overseas. Alex, a soldier serving our country, had been away for months. TOhe anticipation of his arrival was palpable. The energy at the airport was a mix of excitement and emotion, and Molly stood there with their children, waiting to embrace him.

As Alex walked through the gate, his eyes locked onto his family, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. I captured every tear, every smile, and every tight embrace as they reunited. It was more than just a homecoming — it was a celebration of love, sacrifice, and resilience.

What makes this family so special isn’t just their love for each other, but the way they navigate life’s challenges with grace and faith. Alex’s service and sacrifice for his country, Molly’s unwavering support and devotion, and their shared belief in the strength of family have been a privilege to witness and photograph.

Every time I have the honor of photographing them, I’m reminded of how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter—the hugs, the laughter, the quiet glances that speak volumes. These moments are fleeting, but the love behind them endures forever.

It’s families like Molly and Alex’s that remind me why I do what I do. Their story is a testament to the beauty of love, resilience, and faith, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of their journey, from homecomings to family sessions.

If there’s one takeaway from this experience, it’s the importance of cherishing each moment with the people you love. Time may pass, and life may change, but the memories we create together are timeless.

To Molly, Alex, and their beautiful family — thank you for allowing me to capture your moments. Including these at White Park. Your story continues to inspire, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all.
