Granite Links Wedding Venue | Chris and Mary

Chris and Mary’s September wedding was nothing short of magical at the Granite Links Wedding Venue. Overcast skies cast a romantic, soft light over the day and the couple said “I do” at St. Agatha’s Parish in Milton, MA. They were amongst by their closest family and friends.

St. Agatha’s Parish was the perfect setting for Chris and Mary’s ceremony. The historical charm of the church, with its high arches and beautifully detailed stained glass, created an intimate atmosphere. The couple’s love for each other was palpable as they exchanged vows. And the overcast skies outside certainly seemed to reflect the calm and peace of the moment.

The ceremony was filled with emotion, from the touching readings to the joyful music that filled the church. Mary looked especially radiant in her timeless gown. And Chris was surely the picture of happiness as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the pavilion tent at Granite Links in Quincy, MA. Known for its incredible views of the Boston skyline, the venue didn’t disappoint. Though the skies were gray, the cityscape gleamed in the distance. It added a modern, urban touch to the classic elegance of the day.

The pavilion was beautifully decorated, with twinkling lights creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Not surprisingly, the overcast weather actually enhanced the cozy, intimate feel of the tented reception. Guests enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, with the breathtaking view of the rolling hills and skyline in the background.

One of the most striking moments of the day was when the couple stepped out for sunset portraits against the city skyline. The moody, overcast sky with a peek of sun provided a dramatic backdrop. While the distant skyscrapers glowed softly through the haze. It was the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban sophistication, reflecting Chris and Mary’s elegant yet down-to-earth style.

The reception itself was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and of course, dancing. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, followed by a night of celebration. The couple’s first dance, under the soft glow of the pavilion lights, was a moment no one will forget.

Chris and Mary’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love—classic, warm, and full of joy. Despite the overcast skies, the day felt bright and vibrant. From the beautiful ceremony at St. Agatha’s to the unforgettable reception at Granite Links, every detail came together to create a day they will cherish forever.

Congratulations to the happy couple! Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure.
