Callie and John

Callie and John are MARRIED!! I can not even explain to you how happy I am for these two! After over 2 years of planning ( due to a pandemic) and a date change they did it! They tied the knot on a PERFECT summer day in Plymouth, MA. I remember meeting Callie in early 2020 just before everything changed due to Covid-19. At the time, they were planning for a July 10, 2021 celebration at the Pavilion at Pinehills. The pandemic happened and they continued to plan. I met them for their engagement session and I LOVED getting to know them. To this day I still LOVE looking at those photos. As their July 10th date was getting closer, there was not too much change because we had learned that the pandemic that was happening around us. They decided to move their date to July 8, 2022.

The weather was absolutely perfect! I love Plymouth, MA in the summer time ( and really anytime! I love it there). Callie and her girls got ready at her childhood home in Hingham, MA. which was so special. Surrounded by her girls, mom, dad, brother and brother in law it was a special place for her to get ready on her wedding day. Callie’s mom showed me a photos of her when she was 5 years old as a bride on halloween and we were able to recreate this photos on their staircase. It was a photo her mom was really hoping to have, and I am so honored I was able to recreate that photo for her. The guys got ready at a beautiful cape cod style air b&b with gorgeous ocean views where they had their first look.

I had 2 favorite moments I want to share and they both happened during the ceremony.

One of my favorite moments of their wedding day was that Callie’s brother officiated their ceremony for them and in the beginning he announced that he wanted everyone to get out their cell phone and take a selfie. Then text the selfie to the bride and groom. This allowed their guests to use their phone one more time before putting it away for an unplugged ceremony. I thought the was so clever! I never heard that before!! He even took a selfie with everyone behind him waving! So cute! I wonder how that photo came out…. Another part I loved during their ceremony was when John’s sister did the reading. The reading was a bunch of different love quotes from random tv shows and movies. It all flowed together so nicely and many of them I knew! They definitely had all their guests smiling with their reading thats for sure!

Callie and John, CONGRATULATIONS from the bottom of my heart! Thank you so much for trusting us to capture your wedding day! I had the best time getting to know you both and I am so excited to share with you some of my favorite photos from your special day! xo.

  • Love your blog! Couldn’t figure out how to attach a photo, but I just emailed you a copy of the selfie Clay (Callie’s brother) took at the start of the ceremony.
