Elias and Jackie Wedding Day | Plymouth MA

I may be biased, but I think Labor Day weekend is THE BEST weekend to have a wedding…. The reason why I think this….?? PJ and I were married on Labor Day Weekend in 2010! While our wedding day was 9/4/10, Elias and Jackie exchanged their vows 9/5/20.              (Ethan’s Birthday!) Gah, Labor Day Weekend is one of my favorite weekends ever!

Elias and Jackie celebrated the most beautiful intimate wedding in Plymouth MA on September 5, 2020. Joined with Jackie’s immediate family, a total of 6 people (9 including myself and the bride and groom) They were married by Jackie’s brother who officiated their ceremony and had their first kiss as husband and wife on the deck of the family’s home.

When I arrived to the house in Plymouth on this absolute beautiful summer day, I could not help but love every little thing in their home. Jackie’s mom did a beautiful job decorating their entire home to have similar colors in each room. (My fav. TEAL!) I must have taken so many photos of details from inside this adorable home, if they were ever planning to sell, they could 100% use the images I took for real estate photos. I need her mom to come over and decorate my house! She has such a welcoming way of decorating every room!

After their ceremony, Elias and Jackie chose to go off site for their portraits. We went to Ellisville State Park in Plymouth which was the perfect location for them! They were hoping to have photos taken in a natural setting- not one where things were purposely landscaped, man made and busy. This location is a short hiking trail to the beach but we just stayed on the path as the lighting was amazing and no one wants to hike 10mins to a beach in Badgley Mischka heels! I am so happy with these portraits of them. We did these in the afternoon where it is not quite sunset, but I was able to defuse the light through the trees to give them that sunset glow. Getting to meet the family and then stealing them away for portraits are two of my favorite parts from this day.

Elias and Jackie, Thank you! Thank you for keeping in touch throughout your planning as this year was not what we all expected! Thank you for trusting me to capture your special day! You have planned the most beautiful intimate ceremony and it is so special that you captured it on video to share with your friends and family who were not able to attend. I hope that you are able to continue your plans of having a ceremony in TX and Canada as you were originally planning before Covid started but know that if that is not something that will happen any time soon, you can share these photos with your friends and family and share your story so that they can all feel like they were with you. I hope you enjoy looking back at these photos and love them as much as I do. Here are just a few favorites of mine from your wedding day. xoxo

  • Congratulations, Elias and Jackie! While these photos are fantastic, they pale in comparison to the love you exhibit for each other that practically leaps off the virtual pages of the internet. There is a massive smile on my face as I cherish each wonderful photo of your happiness.
