For every summer wedding I always pray for a little relief from the heat. The week leading up to Jill and Joe’s wedding was hot, humid and just uncomfortable to be outside. I was checking the weather for their wedding day every few hours once their day got to be in the 10 day forecast. Thankfully, the heat and humidity broke free and their day could not have been any better! With a light breeze and a gorgeous setting, it was absolutely perfect and no one was melting their make up off!
I remember meeting Jill, Joe, Jill’s mom and her maid of honor a year ago at Starbucks. They told me all about the wedding plans thus far and Jill’s sister(MOH), Jamie couldn’t have been any happier for her big sister! We all clicked right away and I felt honored they chose me to be their wedding photographer! They told me all about their proposal and how they really wanted their engagement photos to be taken in that location with the exact proposal setting in the background. You can see their engagement session here.
With simple gold details and a BEAUTIFUL greenery wall that Jill made with the help of her sister, everything looked amazing. I couldn’t get over the tall centerpieces and the flower choices! It matched the venue’s room perfectly! The smile on Jill’s face when she saw the whole day come together was so heart warming, you couldn’t help but to smile if you were around her.
Jill and Joe had their fist look on a beautiful bridge on the grounds of the Indian Pond Country Club. The sun was shinning and their bridal party was close by. The reaction on Joe’s face when he saw his bride for the first time was so sweet. His smile couldn’t have gotten any bigger! The two of them were beaming with happiness! After they had some time together for their first look, we had bridal party portraits which is always so fun. Their bridal party was a good time and they took my directions like champs!
The dance floor was packed and I had several guests come up to me and thank me for capturing these moments and compliment me! I was so flattered! They made my night!
Jill and Joe, Thank you for having Lisa and I there to document your love story and celebrate with you. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun! I hope you love your sneak peek and are having the best time on your honeymoon!
