Leila and Chris | Granite Links | Quincy, MA

This beautiful day began at the Residence Inn Boston/Braintree as Leila and her girls were getting ready. Leila looked absolutely stunning with her hair and make up done enjoying the moments just before getting in her gown. She took me over to where her details were and said ” I don’t have too many details.” I assured her that even though she might not think she has too many details, what she provided me with was perfect and I knew just what to do to get started on capturing those details while she hung out with her girls. I loved every single bit of shades of blue. I remember from their engagement session that the nautical blues just “screams” Leila. She had a blue and white blanket that day and her details made me think of that and how from her engagement session to the wedding day, it all tied together.

Chris saw Leila for the first time as she was walking down the aisle, hand in hand with her father. I just love any kind of first look- the private first look or at the alter. They are all so special whichever way you choose. The way his face lit up as he saw her walking toward him was the sweetest and one of my favorite parts of their wedding day. He was given her hand by her dad and I love that I was able to capture that entire moment for them. The emotion in their faces throughout that series of photos just melts my heart and I just love how proud her dad is.

Just like their engagement session, a little rain happened, but it was just enough to give us a little breeze on the top of the hill at Granite Links! It did not last long and it did not last hard- their hair, make up and dresses all looked 100% and we did not need to take cover for the rain. We had some cloud coverage but then the sun came out shining ending the day with a beautiful sunset over Boston.

Leila and Chris, thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It was such a huge honor to document your amazing wedding day! Enjoy reliving your wedding day with these few favorites! There are so many more to come! Congratulations you two!! xo.
