Family Session | Amherst, NH | The Astarita Family

Every once in a while, a session feels like an absolute dream. The Astarita’s family session in Amherst, NH was exactly that. From their gorgeous location choice to their perfectly coordinated outfits to the biggest, brightest smiles on their faces, everything came together so beautifully.

The love this family shares is undeniable. Watching the sisters together was such a joy—their bond is strong, playful, and filled with laughter. At one point, they even started playing a version of “Miss Mary Mack.” It turns out it goes by a different name now. But hearing them clap and giggle instantly brought back memories and had us all laughing along.

Dad was completely surrounded by his girls, and you could feel the love pouring out of each of them toward him and one another. It was such a privilege to witness and capture.

The images from this session are absolutely stunning—you would never even guess this was in New Hampshire! It looked like something out of a storybook. Truly, this was one of those dream sessions that I’ll always remember.

I first met the Astarita family through Gwen, their youngest, who attends the same elementary school as my son, Ethan. As the school photographer, I had the joy of capturing Gwen at many school events last year. It was such a treat to finally photograph her entire family together.

And I have to give a little shoutout to Samantha—she’s the one who got me hooked on The Summer I Turned Pretty! Let’s just say I may have binged it a little too quickly because I’m already all caught up…and yes, we are officially Team Conrad in this studio. 😉

Astarita family, thank you for trusting me with these memories. Your session was an absolute highlight, and I’m so excited for you to have these images to treasure forever.
