Doing an in-home newborn session is special, but it’s elevated with the families that hold a very special place in your heart. This is emphatically one of them. I’ve had the incredible honor of photographing each of their beautiful boys as newborns. From the early days with Patrick, then Dominic, and now sweet baby Kieran. To receive an invite back into their home each time has been such a gift. It’s truly special to watch their family grow right in front of my lens.
This in-home newborn session was full of joy, love, and just the right amount of chaos. As is any life with three little boys tends to be! Patrick and Dominic were bursting with energy, curiosity, and big-brother excitement as they welcomed baby Kieran into their world. Their bond as brothers was so sweet to witness—snuggles, giggles, and a little showing off, of course! I always say that these moments—the ones filled with personality and real connection—are what make lifestyle sessions so meaningful.
The beauty of photographing families in their own space is that everything feels natural and genuine. The quiet baby cuddles on the couch, the proud glances from mom and dad, the playful energy of older siblings racing down the hallway. All of it is a reflection of home. These sessions are less about posing and more about preserving what life really looks like in those first few days with a new baby: soft, real, full of love, and just a little wild in the best way.
