Britlyn and John’s wedding day was basically the perfect blend of elegance, joy, and just a touch of New England unpredictability. They were sealed at the beautiful Boston Temple. It serves as a serene and sacred space that sets the tone for a heartfelt and intentional celebration. Despite the on-and-off rain showers throughout the day, the skies cooperated exactly when we needed them to. We were able to capture all of their portraits outdoors, with just a quick appearance from the clear umbrellas (which always add a little magic, in my opinion).
The grounds of the Boston Temple offered a peaceful, timeless backdrop. The chemistry between Britlyn and John made every moment feel effortless. Their love and excitement were unmistakable, and I felt so lucky to be the one documenting such a meaningful chapter of their story.
After the temple, we headed into Cambridge for their reception at the Sonesta. There, the Boston skyline gave us one last photo opportunity before the next round of rain rolled through. It was worth the quick dash to the rooftop for that iconic city view—something Britlyn and John were really hoping for!
Once inside, the celebration truly came to life. From the heartfelt toasts to the bustling dance floor, the energy in the room was undeniably electric. But the highlight? Brityln and John’s choreographed first dance. It was incredible—elegant, romantic, and totally unexpected! You could certainly feel the love and effort they poured into learning and performing it. And their guests absolutely adored it! It set the tone for a night full of dancing, laughter, and celebration.
The dance floor stayed packed the entire evening, with friends and family surrounding the newlyweds in nonstop celebration. It was the kind of night where you could tell no one wanted it to end.
